In order to book a behaviour consultation, a veterinary referral is required, a referral form can be downloaded from the 'Contact/Refer' page . This is needed for several reasons:
In most cases, if you are registered and your veterinarian has seen your pet recently, there should be no cost for this service. However, this is down to your veterinary clinic's discretion.
1. Many behaviour issues can occur as a result of medical issues or require dual management from a behaviourist and vet
2. By working closely with your veterinarian, we are encouraging higher standards within the behaviour field
3. If you wish to claim on insurance, your insurer will likely require this.
